A world once inhabited by being of pure water referred to as the Lyzet. Amnis is a lush and varied world with a multitude of environs and a people as varied as its lands. The continents of Amnis are separated by a vast and mighty ocean and maritime trade is a way of life for many cultures and peoples. Notions like the romantic adventures of Pirates and a man finding a fortune in some forsaken ruin underneath the waves spurs many young men and women on to a ship to seek fortune and fame.
Beginning in the north we have the continent of Nazca, a lush and verdant land of rolling fields, towering mountains and dense jungles. Nazca was divided many centuries prior, by a civil war and has been carved piecemeal by the myriad of noblemen staking claim to various stretches of land on the continent proper. The Nazcan shores are rich with the gold provided by maritime trades and Fairweather Port, the unofficial capital of Nazca, is one of the wealthiest trade ports in the world. The usage of bound elemental technology is less then common on the mainland affording those of the lower class a somewhat cruder style of living still, poverty is low and food is plentiful, at least in the primarily human provinces. Off the shores of Nazca we find the outer provinces. Large islands not quite massive enough to be continents but none the less inhabited by a great number of people that adhere to a simpler way of living then their metropolitan cousins on the mainland. The tropical environment of the Outer Provinces make fishing and sailing ideal and the locals find themselves occasionally beset by pirates of both ill and good intentions.
